Integrating RTJP in Schools, Organizations, and Communities

I have been working in urban public education for over 15 years as a teacher, administrator, director, and restorative justice facilitator in Baltimore, MD, Oakland, CA, Philadelphia, PA, and Camden, NJ. My work has helped schools create curriculum, climate & culture/discipline systems, and has been awarded the National Blue Ribbon Award as well as highly competitive EIR grants.
HFAC specializes in integrating a multi-tiered systems of support approach to implementation of RTJP with an emphasis in SEL and community building. Much of our work has been centered around schools but has also been implemented in nonprofit organizations.
I have a masters in education and am an Honors Fellow at Rutgers University Camden, where I teach a course of RTJP. I created the RJ program for the School District of Philadelphia, Relationships First, and am supporting Camden City School District in creating a similar program, Cultivating Invincibility.

My name is Josh Staub, founder and executive director of HFAC and skilled collaborator with over a decade of experience in schools, adept at tailoring restorative practices to a variety of settings.
I worked with WTSD to develop recommendations for implementing a restorative justice framework aligned to NJTSS, DEI, and SEL.
I'm currently working with CCSD to develop a restorative justice framework aligned to NJTSS and SEL branded as Cultivating Invincibility, which is being implemented in approximately 8 schools with scale up to include district-wide implementation over the next 3 years.
I'm working with a nonprofit research organization to implement restorative justice with an emphasis on authentic community building across the organization and specifically in human resources, using the circle process as a mechanism to resolve conflict and offer alternatives to punitive discipline.
